Hey, I'm planning a trip in August to visit Russia and some friends. Most of the time I'll be staying at hotels, but for some part of the trip I would like to stay at friend's house in a village. I'm wondering if this is even feasible with a tourist visa and how can I make it legal. I heard something about registration at a police station or post office, but I haven't found any concrete data. Where can I get more information?
