Hi Irena,
Please explain the letter of invitation required for Tourist visa. I have read the information but remain confused. I intend to visit my girlfriend in Bashkortostan Republic next June(2025). Can she provide me with a letter of invitation as i will be staying at her apartment? Of course we will travel around Russia in the 3 weeks i am there but the base will be her apartment in Sterlitamak. I bought your guide so looking forward to seeing what i can experience in Russia next year. All the best, Garry

Hello Garry,

You can get a tourist visa or a private visa. For the tourist visa you need a tourist invitation (easy to get in 5 minutes here: https://russiable.com/visa-support). For the private visa you need a private invitation which your girlfriend in Russia must process and then send to you. The first option is much easier and faster.
