Legit travel insurance

I am planning on travelling to Russia next summer in August, are the travel insurances recommended on this website actually reliable? (i.e. Atollo Assistance and Cherehapa), I can't seem to find any reviews for any of those websites online. I guess they are legit and probably not scams since this website host recommends them, but you can't be too prudent these days...
Since I will be staying for fifteen days (probably August 5 to August 20), do I need to buy a travel insurance that actually covers medical expenses for a bit more than my period of stay, or will the exact amount of days be enough? I was also wondering what number should I select on insurances' websites when asked about the traveler's age (either my current age as of December 2024, or how old I will be when travelling to Russia in August after my next birthday in may next year), that seems a little bit tricky to me.

I followed the guides from this site and just two days ago sent my visa application. Cherehapa wouldn't work with a foreign card, even though I noticed it was being paid to Belarus (I'm from Australia)

I ended up using another website which ended up leading me to purchasing insurance from another Russian company called "ALFASTRAKHOVANIE" and it went smoothly, I don't want to post a link to another site, out of respect for the owner and community of this one. Maybe Cherehapa will work for you

Thanks for your reply, do you also happen to know if I can pay for my hotel rooms directly on the hotel websites with my foreign card? most websites say they accept visa and Mastercard, but can the payment be blocked or sth

Kirilovich I used Zenhotels, some of the hotels needed a card, but i never went far enough into these hotels process to see how it worked. I ended up finding one that had no card required for booking and did it that way. But i Assume it would work like a typical hotel booking, i assume these hotels have payments set up to route through countries that arent sanctioned?
