Irena Hey Irena, thank you for the information. Is there a restriction on the amount of e-visa per duration? eg. could I spend 16 days in Russia on an e-visa, then go to Kazakhstan 2/3 days and enter Russia on a new e-visa? Thank you

Irena It is my understand that those living in the US cannot obtain a Russian e-visa or am I confused. I filled out the e-visa form. Will I be required to send documentation to the Russian consolate in Washington?

You can apply for a new electronic visa, but keep in mind that you must wait for the validity period of the visa to expire, which is 60 days. If you are thinking of re-entering it is much better to apply for a traditional double or multiple entry visa.

Lou US citizens cannot apply for an e-visa but citizens of other countries (listed in the article that starts this thread) can apply for an e-visa regardless of their place of residence.
