Hello Irina & community,
I'll start my journey to Central Asia by car, coming from Germany, next week. I would ideally like to enter Russia via Belarus, as from all I've heard, the borders Lithuania/Belarus are considerably quicker than e.g. Latvia/Russia.
Now, I couldn't find a definitive answer on whether it is officially possible to exit Russia into a third country, after entering from Belarus, given Russia won't give you an entry stamp on the border. Most sources suggest it shouldn't be a problem, but there isn't a lot of reports of people who have actually done it (just one to my knowledge). Do you think I will get problems on exit?
Would I be able to get, if not an entry stamp, some sort of written confirmation at the checkpoint that I entered Russia there?
