📢 E-VISA VALIDITY PERIOD WILL BE EXTENDED FROM AUGUST 23
President Vladimir Putin has signed a law extending the unified e-visa validity period to 120 days (from 60) and doubling the permitted stay duration to 30 days (from 16), while maintaining the single-entry rule.
The changes come into force 30 days after publication.
🔸 Other updates: border crossing is now permitted outside official checkpoints with special authorization from border authorities. In other cases, it remains prohibited.
📌 Reminder: the e-visa covers tourist trips, business visits, private travel, and cultural/scientific events across 64 eligible countries.
