Anyone take the Test of Russian Language as a Foreigner (ТРКИ) Recently?

I'm interested in taking this test in Moscow, confident I'll pass the 1st certificate (equivalent to Euro B1) level, if not 2nd certificate. I've found one test center but not sure it's active atm

If anyone's done the test recently, where was it, how was it arranged, did they accept cash, what was the experience like, etc? Any tips appreciated

I'm not in Russia currently and next visit will be a few days only. Test is 2 days

PS all the leads I've got so far seem to want electronic payment. Bank accounts are harder to get now... is there a good alternative, e.g. prepaid debt cards sold retail like in the west?

Well, I took the test, now a certified speaker on TRKI-1 level. Pushkin Russian Language Institute administered it. They accept cash if you don't have a Mir card. It was a straightforward standardized exam, mostly on computer, except TRKI levels do the writing sections by pen and paper. It's also a long exam, 4 hours or more. Decent price at 6000 rubles and there are practice tests available online.

For those considering the test, I would recommend downloading all the practice tests and taking the time to figure out where you're at - you only get to sign up for one of them, so aim for the hardest level you can pass.
