i have a few questions on all of you, if someone know
my friend want to visit me in Schengen Area. He make tourist visa (i am not sure)
He arranged everything what was needed and what the visa center told him. Buy retunt ticket etc.
They told him, that he need to make bank statement with at least 2400 euros on his account for 30 days tourist visa, so i help him with it. After all of it, they call him that everything is ready and he can come to get visa. So he packed his things to travel, go to Moscow, and when he come to visa centrum, they told him, that they only can give him Schengen visa for 90 days and he need to prove that he has 7200 euros on his account even though that he will be in Europe for 30 days or less - dont they know it before all of the calls, messages and what he arranged everything?
is this true about all of this? that he can get only schengen visa, and the rest of all?
well i understand that he could get only schengen visa (regardless that they tell him nothing when he ask them about information of visa), and i understand that schengen visa is for 90 days, but does he really need the amount of money for 90 days? while he will be in Europe for 30 days and not for 90 days? i know there is amount of money per day for living, but i thought that when he come for 30 days, the amount of money for 30 days will be enough.
Why they need from him money for 90 days even he will be there 30 days or less?
for the first they wanted from him the return-ticket where they can see how long he will be there, after this they wanted the amount of money on his account - 2400 euros - for 30 days, okey
now while he take a free time in work, bought the ticket and need arrive to moscow for visa, they told him, that he needs 7200 euros for 90days even they know through ticket, that he cannot be there for more than 30 days, so in my opinion, the money for 30 days what he has is enough, but i dont know how it works
he has bought ticket, has free time in work, he has everything, and they told him now, that he has not enough money, even he had all what they need to give a visa to him and all what they told him before
so what he could do now?
all what he done and what he bought is for nothing? so waste of money for ticket to travel to Europe, waste money for ticket to Moscow, waste money for hotel in Moscow, waste money for make a documents for visa, everything for nothing?
we both dont know now, what he can do now? if anything of course...
is there any option?
or the only way is have enough money? - 7200 euros
or after this will they come with something else what he need what they did not tell him again?
or there is option for apply to another visa? - he told me that he can apply again the next visa after 6 month
well there could be one more option - is he just lying to me to get more money from me, or is this all true what i describe above?
