russia flights purchase options

I just attempted to purchase a flight into Russia on Trip, which I used last year with no issues. Suddenly it wont allow for Visa payments on any of my USA cards (and Europe.) Anyone having this issue and/or recommend a workaround? How are you buying your tickets into and through Russia now?

It says right on the first page of the website, "We accept Russian bank cards for payment" so I guess if they were allowing other than that, it has changed. I would book with the airlines directly, such as Turkish, Air Serbia, and others. I happen to have Russian bank cards so I guess I would be able to book through Trip. Not sure I would do that but I will check out the website. Thanks for the tip.

Cal We must be looking at different websites because even their customer service wasn't sure what the reason was. I have since checked other flight routes that worked before and they no longer do on Trip or OneTwoTrip. I'm entering through China this time so I'll see if direct booking works. Nonethless, its a recent change so just looking for a workaround.

You can buy tickets into Russia directly on the Turkish Airline website.
