I have purchased Aeroflot tickets at Russian Airports with cash. And have only had to wait 4 hours for the flight to leave.
Make sure you go to the "Aeroflot" ticket office (it will be cheaper). And it helps to have a known flight and time picked out before you start talking to them, because sometimes they dont understand what you want an then you will misinterpret their "no" answer.
