I have successfully entered Russia and declared my medications with all the appropriate documentation. The process was straightforward and simple. I am planning to exit Russia in a couple of weeks by train to Mongolia. Since I am leaving by train, what's the procedure for declaring on exit to Mongolia? Do we leave the train and get stamped out of Russia and do it then, or do they board the train and take care of us on the train and just tell them we want to declare?
Also do they count how much you're leaving with? They counted everything on entry to make sure it matched the doctor's note.
