Hello,
Russia has published a draft reform of the eVisa. The main changes:
- 45 days' validity, and you could stay in Russia for that whole period (today it's 30 days from entry). Note that the 45 days would start when the eVisa is issued, not when you enter.
- Entry and exit through any border crossing open to international passengers, including overland.
- Transit added as a purpose of travel.
- It would still be single-entry.
For now it's only a draft and there's no date yet: it would come into force 90 days after official publication, and the text may still change. Until then the current rules apply, so don't plan a 45-day trip or an entry through a crossing that isn't on the current list.
