I am really grateful for your blog and your pointers. I would like to do the Trans-Siberian rail route from Beijing to Moscow this summer and have barely been able to find any up-to-date information online as to how I would be able to do this. I know that official tourist tours have been stopped and I wanted to ask if it’s generally still possible to do the trans-siberian route by train? If yes, do you have tips or things that would be important to consider for planning such a long train trip? Also, would you say it’s safe for two female travellers given the current political climate? Thank you in advance.
