# Has anyone done the Trans-Siberian recently?

Hi, I am currently planing and looking into doing the Trans-Siberian this August/ September. I am curious if anyone has done this recently? Most travel blogs are from pre-2022. Also, I was wondering if anybody could share their thoughts regarding safety. I would love to do this trip but many people keep advising me against it because of increased tensions and recent arrests of foreigners. I do think there is a lot of fear mongering in the media and I would love to hear other people’s opinions/ experience. Thank you in advance.
