# How to get a Russian MIR bank card before your trip (from abroad)

Dear all,  
I have followed the procedure to get a virtual MIR card and then a physical MIR card sent to France. It worked perfectly well and got it in 2 weeks. The most difficult part was to send money to the account. I used the “Via Foreign Card” option and made the payment via a YUH (swiss) e-bank, they automatically transfered the amount converting first through USD. It did not worked through Revolut. For 1 USD, got 70,9 RUB including fees.  
And now I can’t do this for the last few weeks… do you face the same situation?

There are different payment methods today.  
I was using Yoomoney but, personally, it was not the best experience… now I’m using PayInRussia, i can buy via QR, online and send money to book something much faster and easier.
