@Jerz and no news about ig it is really temporarily or not . in December transfers were delined,laer in Janury one transfer went trhough and money were delievered in 3 days or so. I tried again few days ago and only saw that temp unavailable ---

Ok thanks for the updates, yeah profee doesnt seem reliable at all and high fees as well, crypto is still the OG of sending to Russia ---

@Jerz looks like crypto now is only way,but for unexperienced people its pretty risky thing. me personally would not mind higher fees if only proffee would work ---

Thank you so much for sharing this vital information and creating this community! I hope this sanctions situation will be resolved soon but as of right now I am feeling like my family and I have been punished by these restrictions for doing absolutely nothing wrong… Bad guys and bureaucrats will always find their way around and squeeze their extra cup of tears from regular people turning desperate and paying more for something that should not cost them anything in normal circumstances…. It has become my priority now to make sure that I get my mom to come to the US to live with me as soon as possible…. It can easily happen that I might just lose her….. And I am only starting my research on the topic of what difficulties are associated with everything related to Russia in terms of those services and processes that are a part of regular life for everyone. And I am discovering how deeply the consequences of geopolitical games have penetrated into every single aspect of life and something that is otherwise routine is now an additional obstacle if you are a Russian citizen or have a family in Russia….. I did not even realize how bad it is until now and I am so afraid that I might not be strong enough to overcome every single hurdle - neither my mother nor myself have ever done anything to be punished….. And yet I am sure there are thousands of people who are in the same situation right now dead with this unfair and unfortunate circumstances…. This is the first resource that I began this journey with, and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this experience because it’s really helpful to someone like myself….. Best of luck to everyone and let’s pray for each other and for everyone who has paid the ultimate price - lost their life to someone’s decision to use you as their instrument of war against humanity itself which has no other true right besides the right to live on a piece of land that has no other owner or sovereign state that can take it away from you…..In the name of a concept of freedom lives are stolen from people who used to be free if they were ever left alone to be…. We are all living human beings and this is our planet. Nobody owns us or decides our fate. They only lie to us for their own purposes which lead to our destruction and never those responsible…. Hi, anything new regarding how to send money to Russia (from Germany)? I guess Volet doesn’t work, withdrawing to a Russian bank account???. Are cryptocurrencies the best way now and does this way work? Does sending crypto via Volet work? Does anyone have recent experiences? ---

Crypto is the quickest and cheapest, Profee and Volet available in different countries but more expensive. Most transfer to Russian accounts via Bybit for crypto using USDT. ---

Does anyone know what exchange a U.S. citizen can use to buy crypto? It is getting harder for me to find an exchange that will accept a U.S. citizen. I have been successfully using crypto to send money to my son’s bank account in Russia, but now I’m getting shut down by my previous exchanges. My son has a bank account with Sberbank and Raiffeisen. Thank you for your help. ---

@Katie1994 My American friend sends crypto from Coinbase to Coinbase Wallet and then sends it to a Russian bank account using [bestchange.ru](http://bestchange.ru). However, I don’t arrive in Russia until May, so I haven’t done that yet myself. If others prefer a different method, feel free to share! Спасибо ---

The only thing to add is if like me you aren’t able to open Bybit ( ie UK) just open a Kraken account then buy and transfer your USDT to the Bybit account of your choice( my wife is Russian so the Bybit account is in her name) ---

Hi all, I have a verified юmoney account (and a мир card linked to it) and I would like to replenish with rubles. Tried to follow Irene’s steps but on Bybit almost all advertisers use Payeer card ? Almost no other card ? Am I missing something or…? ---

I was able to easily buy USDT with euros via the peer-to-peer market in my Telegram wallet. I sold it for rubles and had the amount credited to my YooMoney account. Other russian accounts available.The exchange and transfer fees were approximately 10% of the total. ---

@Max For Americans using Telegram, this may also be effective as we are now allowed to use the Telegram wallet as well. I was playing around with it this morning. While currently the only option to sell was back into USD, using it to purchase and send to another wallet is available. ---

@Irena You should update your guide about the new law, aside from cash points it is highly advised not to use p2p for inbounds , ones accounts will be blocked. This has already happened to someone I know, they have really cracked down in the last month.
