# Is it ever too early to request an eFMS Invitation?

Hey all!

I am an Australian citizen and I am planning on attaining a 1-Year Multi-Entry Business Visa to Russia. Since I am Australian, I will need to request an eFMS Invitation which takes approximately ~22 Calender Days according to this article: [https://russiable.com/business-visa-russia/#2\_eFMS\_Electronic\_Invitation\_all\_countries](https://russiable.com/business-visa-russia/#2_eFMS_Electronic_Invitation_all_countries) .

I will enter Russia on the 24th of July. As of today, it is currently more than 90 days in advance from my planned date of arrival, so I will not apply for my Visa until after the 25th of April. (“_It is advisable to begin the process well in advance if there is any unforeseen event, with at least 45 days in advance and at most 90 days in advance. Keep in mind that the Russian Visa Center does not process visas with more than 90 days in advance._”)

However, is it too early now to request the eFMS Invitation?? Since this takes ~22 days, I would like to start the process sooner than later.
