Okay guys, I would like myself and my daughter to move to Russia. She is 16 and turns 17 on the 16th of September. She therefore is unable to yet gain a student invitation from a university. (Private educational centres are not issuing long term invitations or the 3 month invitations to foreigners. Only providing education to those already in Moscow) or so they say. I understand that in order for her to be able to be put onto my VISA, my VISA can only be a tourist or work VISA. I am however self employed. Tourist Visa is only for 3 months. I do have a friend there, who we met online 3 years ago but the departments of migrations website will not allow him to submit his information for a private VISA. Does anyone know how the said title can be achieved. Thank you in advance. ---

I know this is a month later, but new information came out yesterday. Russia is about to put out a new 3-month temporary residence permit visa—something to look into.
