# Tourist visa whilst staying with friends

I bought the tourist visa but my plan is to stay with friends so i just picked a random hotel for the visa support document. Will i be asked to show proof of hotel booking at immigration or will I be fine? What do i say if they ask where am I staying?

On arrival you will not be asked, they are only interested in the valid visa in your passport or e visa. The hotel booking etc is just for the issue of the visa

Ok cool thank you so much! Just a follow up, I am applying through the visa center in London but now I think they only take booking appointments so will I have to pay extra to book?

I also read that theres a form that will need to be filled and provided to authorities by hosters, about your stay in the locality as a notification of arrival of foreigner or person without citizenship at the place of stay. If I am staying with my friend what do i fill this out with if i am on a tourist visa? Do i state i will stay with them or the dummy hotel I have put in my visa support document?
