Hello, I found this page to buy train tickets in Russia, I would like to know if anyone knows it and could guide me in the purchase, since, when entering the passenger data, it rejects them, thank you very much. @Esteban [Russiantrain](https://russiable.com/russiantrain) works with foreign cards. Contact your bank to check reason of rejected payment, maybe your bank rejects the operation and you can solve it ---

I tried with a couple of cards, contacted the bank and they told me that there was a communications error, I tried again several different days and nothing, I also tried through friends’ cards and same error. I’m already against time, I arrive in Saint Petersburg on June 25 and I have to travel to Moscow on the 28th : / ---

@Esteban European type cards with 3D-Secure authentication or American type card without? This may play a role because the bank and payment processor used by [russiantrain.com](http://russiantrain.com) is Belarusian (bepaid.by) so they use 3D-Secure gateway. But then another reason may be that the card’s bank does blacklist Belarus. I have the case, one of my bank keeps Belarus, the other bank not. Alternatively, on the payment window of BePaid, the one where you fill in card’s data, Google Pay is offered.. This may work or not (depending if their G-Pay account is the same bank or not). you could also try [tutu.ru](http://tutu.ru), it worked for a while, don’t know if their workaround was hit by gringos since. ---

@antoniob I tried with two different cards and also with Gpay, both indicate an error, apparently the banks in Chile have blocked the payments, from the banks they only indicate a communication error in the transaction, apart from that I tried with the card of a friend in Germany and the same. So keep looking for a reliable intermediary with whom you can buy the ticket. The only good thing is that I don’t need a visa to enter Russia. ---

@Esteban I don’t have much time to try if the workaround I will describe now still works. Esto: - you create an account on [Yoomoney.ru](http://Yoomoney.ru). They still have a page at least in english if you don’t read cyrillic: [https://yoomoney.ru/?lang=en](https://yoomoney.ru/?lang=en). Account creation is by phone number. - you pick an exchanger crypto of your choice (BTC, etc) -\>RUB on [Bestchange.ru](http://Bestchange.ru) - buy cryptocurrency, and use the exchanger to top your Yoomoney wallet - buy a ticket on [tutu.ru](http://tutu.ru) with the virtual Yoomoney card number. this was easy few years ago, these days it has to be checked, but right now I am to busy to check myself. the best if the payment workaround can be set, is to use directly the russian railways site/app but [rzd.ru](http://rzd.ru) was blocked to non-russian IP from march/april 2022 already, to divert massive DNS attacks that flooded russian sites back then.So you need a VPN located in Russia. These are few and paid. For instance ProtonVPN have servers in Russia. Otherwise [tutu.ru](http://tutu.ru) (btw I checked: they now accept only RF issued cards).
