Can I enter Russia **after** the entry date noted on the visa? Conversely, can I depart Russia **before** the exit date noted on the visa?

_Example 1:_
What happens if the my flight is delayed by one day and I arrive in Russia the day after the entry dates noted on my visa?

_Example 2:_
What happens if my flight is canceled (or delayed) and I’m not able to leave on the exit date noted on my visa? Will I be allowed to exit Russia _the day after_ the exit date noted on my visa?

Thanks,
Steve

@wargealwhaldwap Hello,

Yes, you can enter (and leave Russia) within the period of your visa, it does not have to be the first day of your visa. For this reason, it is advisable to apply for a visa for a slightly longer period than expected.
