# Will the new Visa info be updated on your website?

Hi, will you be updating the new Visa for 3 yrs that leads to residency which excludes the language test? And can US citizens still apply for the original 3yr tourist visa?

The new temporary residency permit has not been finalized and submitted to the general population. Earliest would be in September.

That would be separate from the existing 3yr Tourist Visa for Americans, Yes? Or I guess we’ll have to wait?

@Ginet From my understanding, yes. It is a temporary 3 month private visa that does not require an invitation letter. You register your place of stay within 7 days. Then, you have 3 months to apply for the TRP (Temporary Resident Permit) without needing to worry about the quota. Then after 8 months of TRP - you can apply for the full residency.. and so forth. But… more information (which countries will be invited to apply, etc etc) will be out soon.
