From January 14 - February 12th this year, I stayed in Moscow for 30 days. I loved it and immediately knew I would like to return again someday to explore other parts of Russia. As it turns out I have an unexpected break at work coming up at the end of April / beginning of May, and was hoping to go this time but to more places around the country (St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan etc, possibly even Irkutsk) for another 20-30 days. My first time there I adhered to all rules and didn’t have any issues whatsoever.
What my question is, does anyone know what the consulates are like with issuing another (most likely) single entry visa to Russia, if its only been 2-3 months since the last visit? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated!
Generally speaking, applying for another single-entry tourist visa to Russia just 2–3 months after a previous visit isn’t usually a problem, as long as your first trip was within the visa’s allowed duration and you followed all the rules.
There’s no official rule requiring a waiting period between visits. Many travelers get multiple visas in the same year without issues.
I’ve had double entry Tourist visa and a double entry Private visa within a very short space of time, and recently.
As long as the requirements are met and you use a well established visa specialist it’s no problem at all.
